With her background in computer science, Uta joined IBM Germany and took over various management positions in training and education department. Since August 2018, she has been a part of the worldwide diversity team in IBM and is currently responsible for the implementation of the IBM Diversity & Inclusion Strategy in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and BeNeLux.
The main focus areas are promoting awareness on diversity, improving the inclusive culture as well as ensuring the acquisition and development of diverse talents. Throughout her professional career, she was a member of several foundation advisory boards and university committees as well as 6 years chairwoman of the Bitkom committee “Women in ICT”. Besides her work at IBM, she is currently setting up her own consulting business for career coaching and diversity management.
