Kerstin Ettl is a Juniorprofessor for Entrepreneurial Diversity & SME Management at the University of Siegen in Germany. She holds a graduate and doctoral degree in Business Administration. Her research interests include the interlinkages between diversity, entrepreneurship and SME management from individual and contextual points of view. Gender aspects are a recurring topic in her research agenda – currently she is leading a project about careers of women and women entrepreneurs in STEM fields.
Kerstin Ettl teaches bachelor- and master classes, mainly in business administration and plural economics. She is engaged as Country-Vice President for Germany of the European Council for Small Business (ECSB) and amongst others Guest Editor of a Special Issue about Concepts and Facets of Entrepreneurial Diversity in the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Venturing.
